❤️ Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- It only takes a few minutes! It’s my favorite Spring drink and a great afternoon pick-me-up!
- Matcha lattes at cafés and bakeries are $$$$$$. Although I enjoy treating myself to a nice matcha latte, it can get quite expensive! Making it at home is much more wallet-friendly AND customizable 😆.
- It’s super versatile. You can swap out different milks or sweeteners. Want a maple matcha latte? Use maple as your sweetener. Not feeling the lavender? Try my creamy strawberry cold foam!

How to Make Matcha Latte With Lavender Cold Foam
Step 1: Make the lavender simple syrup by heating together sugar, water, and dried lavender on medium until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes, then strain into a clean container. Alternatively, buy your favorite lavender syrup!
Step 2: Use a sifter to sift your matcha powder into a bowl. Pour in hot water. Use a bamboo whisk in M and W motions until mixture is lump-free and frothy. You can also use an electric frother. Stir in sweetener of choice.
Step 3: Add ice and milk to your serving cup. Pour matcha mixture over your milk.
Step 4: In a cup, froth your heavy cream and lavender syrup until fluffy. Feel free to mix in purple food coloring or a small amount of purple sweet potato powder. (Tip: If it’s too thick, stir in a splash of heavy cream or even some milk.) Taste and add more syrup or sweetener of choice. Pour on top of your matcha, sprinkle some lavender buds, and enjoy!
