Ingredients

To make a homemade coconut matcha latte from scratch, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • Use your favorite coconut water/juice. Sometimes, I like to use the ones that come with pulp!
  • Make sure to use quality culinary matcha powder for maximum flavor and that vibrant green color!
  • Coconut milk and heavy cream make the matcha mixture super light and fluffy.
  • Any sweetener can be used, like granulated sugar, brown sugar, honey, agave, etc.

How to Make A Coconut Matcha Cloud Latte

Step 1: In a bowl or cup, froth together matcha powder, coconut milk, heavy cream, and sweetener until thick and fluffy.

Step 2: Add ice and coconut juice/water to a cup. Top with matcha cloud mixture and enjoy!

Storage

I highly recommend enjoying your coconut matcha as soon as it’s made! However, you can store it in the fridge in an airtight container for 2 days.

Equipment

Ingredients 

  • ½ cup (113 g) coconut milk canned, chilled
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) heavy cream chilled
  • 1 teaspoon (2 g) matcha sifted
  • 1-2 teaspoons (4 g) sweetener granulated sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, etc.
  • ½ cup (120 g) coconut water chilled
  • ice
  • optional toppings: coconut pulp, boba, jellies

Instructions 

  • In a small bowl or cup, add sifted ½ cup (113 g) coconut milk, and 2 tablespoons (30 g) heavy cream, 1 teaspoon (2 g) matcha, and 1-2 teaspoons (4 g) sweetener.
    Froth or whisk until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • No frother or whisk? Add to a jar and shake by hand!
  • In your serving cup, add ice and optional toppings: coconut pulp, boba, jellies. Pour in ½ cup (120 g) coconut water and gently top with your matcha mixture.
  • Stir and enjoy your coconut matcha cloud latte!
