🍵 Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • It only takes a few minutes! It’s a great option for starting off your morning or a refreshing pick-me-up in the afternoon.
  • Matcha lattes at cafés and bakeries are $$$$$$. Although I enjoy treating myself to a nice matcha latte, it can get quite expensive! Making it at home is much more wallet-friendly AND customizable 😆.
  • It’s super versatile. You can swap out different milks or sweeteners. Want a honey matcha latte? Use honey instead of granulated sugar. Not feeling the blueberry? Try out my strawberry cold foam instead!

Ingredient Notes

  • I like to use culinary grade matcha powder for lattes, since ceremonial matcha is best enjoyed as a simple tea. The matcha powder is mixed with hot water until smooth, and then sweetened with sugar.
  • The matcha mixture can be enjoyed with any type of milk.
  • I used homemade blueberry jam, but feel free to use your favorite store-bought brand.
  • The heavy cream gives the cold foam its unique fluffy, creamy texture, and the vanilla extract enhances its flavor!
  • You can use any sweetener you prefer, such as granulated sugar, brown sugar, or alternative sugar. If using a liquid sweetener like honey or maple syrup, you will need to mix the ingredients a little bit longer.
