When Dunkin’ Donuts dropped a banana pudding cold foam in March 2026, I ordered it over 6x in one month. When they discontinued it (SO devastating!!!), I did what any reasonable person would do… reverse-engineer it at home! And voila—here is my banana pudding cold foam recipe, which is quick and easy to make, plus only requires a few ingredients.

How to Make Banana Pudding Cream Cold Foam

Step 1: Add heavy cream, milk, vanilla, and instant banana pudding mix to a jar or tupperware. Shake until fluffy! Alternatively, use a frother.

Equipment
- bowl or cup
Ingredients
Banana pudding cold foam:
- 3 tablespoons (45 g) milk any kind
- 2 tablespoons (30 g) heavy cream
- 1-2 teaspoons (3 g) instant banana pudding cream mix adjust to taste
- ½-1 teaspoon (1 g) vanilla paste or extract; adjust to taste
Optional toppings:
- cookies I used banana bears!
- cinnamon
- edible flowers
Instructions
- Tip: No frother? Add everything to a jar or tupperware, and shake until fluffy!
- In a bowl or cup, use milk frother to mix 3 tablespoons (45 g) milk, 2 tablespoons (30 g) heavy cream, 1-2 teaspoons (3 g) instant banana pudding cream mix, and ½-1 teaspoon (1 g) vanilla until light and fluffy.
- Let it sit for a few minutes, as it will thicken due to the pudding mix. If it's too thick, stir in a splash of milk.
- Enjoy! Use it to top your lattes or teas, and garnish with optional toppings.
Notes
- Storage: I recommend enjoying it as soon as it’s made. However, you can store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. I recommend blending or re-whipping it to fluff it up again!
