  • It only takes a few minutes—simply add everything to a cup and froth it up! If you don’t have a frother, you can add the ingredients into a mason jar, seal it tight, and shake until it thickens.
  • It’s super versatile. You can add this lavender cream to your morning coffees, matcha lattes, bobas, smoothies, and more!

Ingredients

To make homemade lavender cold foam, you’ll need the following ingredients:

Lavender cold foam labeled ingredients on a wooden table.
  • I used homemade lavender syrup, but feel free to use your favorite brand.
  • The heavy cream gives the cold foam its unique fluffy, creamy texture.
  • I added a touch of purple sweet potato powder to naturally color the cold foam into a nice shade of lavender! Feel free to use purple food coloring or completely omit it. If you don’t add coloring, the cold foam will be a white color.
  • For fun (and the aesthetic), I topped my cold foam with some dried lavender buds.
  • If it’s not sweet enough, feel free to add in sweetener of choice: sugar, alternative sugar, honey, agave, etc.

How to Make Fluffy Lavender Cream

Straining lavender syrup into a clean mason jar.

Step 1: Make the lavender simple syrup by heating together sugar, water, and dried lavender on medium until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes, then strain into a clean container. Alternatively, buy your favorite lavender syrup!

Using a frother to whip up lavender cold foam.

Step 2: In a cup, froth your heavy cream and lavender syrup until fluffy. Feel free to mix in purple food coloring or a small amount of purple sweet potato powder. (Tip: If it’s too thick, stir in a splash of heavy cream or even some milk.) Taste and add more syrup or sweetener of choice. Pour on top of your drink of choice, sprinkle some lavender buds, and enjoy!

For full instructions, see the recipe card below.

Storage

Store the lavender cold foam in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. I recommend blending or re-whipping it to fluff it up again!
