Ingredients

To make banana cold foam from scratch, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • Use a ripe banana to ensure a stronger, sweeter banana flavor!
  • The heavy cream and milk give the cold foam its unique fluffy, creamy texture, and the vanilla extract enhances its flavor!
  • You can use any sweetener you prefer, such as granulated sugar, brown sugar, or alternative sugar. If using a liquid sweetener like honey or maple syrup, you will need to mix the ingredients a little bit longer.

How to Make Banana Cold Foam

Step 1: Mash your banana until it’s a puree consistency, then add heavy cream, milk, vanilla and sweetener to a jar or tupperware. Shake until fluffy! Alternatively, use a blender.

Step 2: Taste, adding sweetener if needed. If it’s too thick, add more milk. Pour banana cold foam on top of your drink of choice. Enjoy!

Storage

I recommend using the cold foam immediately and not storing it, since it will oxidize and brown! Always enjoy it fresh.

Equipment

  • mason jar or other closed container,
  • blender, optional

Ingredients 

  • 1 (50 g) banana small
  • 6 tablespoons (90 g) heavy cream
  • 3-4 tablespoons (45 g) milk any kind; adjust to your preferred consistency
  • 2 teaspoon (8 g) vanilla extract
  • 2-3 teaspoons (8 g) sweetener adjust to taste! you can use regular sugar, stevia, agave, honey, etc.

Instructions 

No Blender Method:

  • In a jar or tupperware, use a fork to mash 1 banana until it's a puree consistency.
  • Add 6 tablespoons heavy cream, 3-4 tablespoons milk, and 2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Close container and shake until fluffy, about 2-4 minutes!
  • Taste, adding 2-3 teaspoons sweetener if needed. If it's too thick, add more milk.
  • Pour banana cold foam on top of your drink of choice. Enjoy!

Blender Method:

  • In a small blender, add 1 banana, 6 tablespoons heavy cream, and 3-4 tablespoons milk, and 2 teaspoon vanilla extract. blend until fully combined.
  • Taste, adding 2-3 teaspoons sweetener if needed. If it's too thick, add more milk.
  • Pour banana cold foam on top of your drink of choice. Enjoy!

Notes

  • I recommend using the cold foam immediately and not storing it, since it will oxidize and brown.
