How to Make Homemade Einspanner

Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla (optional) until soft peaks. You can also use a frother.

Step 2: In your serving cup, add 1-2 shots of espresso and top with whipped cream. Optionally dust with cocoa powder and enjoy!

Ingredients
- ¼ cup (59.5 g) heavy cream chilled
- ½-2 tablespoons (8 g) powdered sugar adjust to taste
- 1 teaspoon (4 g) vanilla paste or extract; optional
- 1-2 shots (30 g) espresso no espresso machine? use water and espresso powder!
- cocoa powder for dusting (optional)
Instructions
Make the whipped cream:
- In a small mixing bowl, add ¼ cup heavy cream, ½-2 tablespoons powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla (optional). Use whisk to whip until soft peaks. You can also use a frother.Taste and add more powdered sugar to your liking. If it's too thick, stir in a splash of heavy cream.
Assemble einspanner:
- In your serving cup, add 1-2 shots espresso. Generously dollop on whipped cream. Dust with cocoa powder (optional), and enjoy!
