If you're looking for a easy, fun, whimsical snack, try out fairy bread! It's a common treat in Australia and New Zealand, which is served at children's birthday parties. It's made with soft white bread, butter, and nonpareils (aka hundreds and thousands).
Spread softened 1 tablespoon salted butter on 1 slice soft white bread.
Add generous amount of nonpareils onto a plate. Press buttered side of bread face-down onto nonpareils, making sure it's completely covered in sprinkles.
Cut into classic triangles or use cookie cutters for fun shapes!
